Greg Alvo is the CEO and founder of Ordergroove, responsible for setting the overall strategic direction for the company and overseeing day-to-day operations. Greg founded Ordergroove from his apartment in 2010 with the vision of making consumers’ lives easier via innovative commerce experiences (before anyone knew what a subscription service was: “huh, like magazines?”). While in school and shortly thereafter, Greg held a variety of enterprise sales roles at Liquidation.com, an eCommerce startup that went public in 2006. Greg graduated from George Washington University, where he created his own Major with a degree in Entrepreneurship/Small Business Management. Prior to attending GWU, Greg founded Voteq, a computer hardware firm which he grew to over 100 clients nationwide. Originally from Miami, Florida, Greg now lives in Brooklyn with his much better half, Caroline, and three daughters Adriana, Daniella and Bleecker (dog included here). In any free time, Greg most enjoys reading, exercising and getting back on the tennis court.

As the VP of Product, Paul leads the strategy, design and execution of Ordergroove’s innovative commerce solutions.
Paul’s passion is commerce and designing ground-breaking products that delight end-users and deliver business results. Paul started his career as an entrepreneur, which prepared him for succession of product management positions at PayPal and Zong (a provider of frictionless mobile payment solutions that was sold to PayPal 2011). Most recently, Paul was the VP of Product at Contently that grew to an Inc. 100 company in less than 4 years.
Paul is a native of Berlin, Germany and holds a Diplom-Kaufmann from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Paul and his wife relocated to the US in 2007, settling in San Francisco and the moving cross country to New York in 2012.

Prior to Ordergroove, Lauren spent five years at Trustpilot where she was most recently VP of Global Demand Creation and Americas Marketing. As one of the early marketing hires, she helped build product marketing, demand generation, content marketing, digital, and partner marketing from the ground up. Prior to Trustpilot, Lauren worked at Belden where she held a variety of roles across sales and marketing, eventually leading the product marketing, content, brand, and lead qualification teams for the Enterprise Connectivity unit. Lauren is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor’s in Marketing and Business Management. Lauren lives in New York City with her husband, Eric. When not nerding out on all things marketing, Lauren enjoys traveling, trying to eat at every restaurant in New York City, and cheering on the USC Gamecocks.

Brendan heads Ordergroove’s finance and accounting functions to support the company’s continued growth. Previously, he was Vice President of Finance at Relationship Science LLC, the business development tool that helps professionals and organizations unlock their relationship capital. Prior to that he was Vice President of Finance for TheLadders.com, Inc., the leading $100K+ online recruitment service. Brendan began his career at KPMG LLP and has held financial management positions in the biotechnology and advertising industries as well.
Brendan graduated from St. John’s University with a Bachelor’s in Accounting and obtained his MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in New York. In his free time, he enjoys spending time in the great outdoors of Long Island with his wife, Lesley, and their two children, Liam and Emma.

As Ordergroove’s Chief Customer Officer, Brandon ensures clients receive maximum benefit from Ordergroove’s technology, marketing programs and thought leadership in a rapidly evolving space. Brandon is responsible for Customer Success, Solutions and Support where passion for matching client goals with innovative problem solving reigns supreme.
Previously, Brandon spent 8 years growing Yodle’s client services and operations teams. As employee 85, Brandon helped the Yodle team scale to 1500 employees, four office expansions and 160M in revenue. Brandon has lead international client success teams at Yodle, LinkShare and Shopping.com.
Brandon is a graduate of Bard College. He lives in New Jersey with his wife, Emily and kids Nora, Stellan and Margot. While not playing chauffeur for his kids, Brandon enjoys Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and weekend barbecues.

As Chief Revenue Officer, Ralph provides leadership and sales direction for the company to ensure we achieve our financial goals, grow our relationships with brands and retailers of all sizes, and foster a great environment for our rapidly growing sales team.
Ralph joined Ordergroove from Amperity where he served as CRO and led world-wide sales and operations. Prior to that, he spent five years at Visual IQ (acquired by Nielsen) where he was responsible for world-wide sales, channel alliances, and technology partnerships. Additionally, Ralph previously spent several years at Adobe in senior management and executive roles growing Adobe’s Marketing Cloud business, including the development of the initial go-to-market strategy for Adobe’s Data Management Platform (DMP) platform.
Ralph graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Political Science, International Relations. In college, Ralph played Division 1 soccer, and he still attempts to play old man soccer on Sunday’s, Ralph lives in Fairfield CT with his wife Carrie and two children, Tanner and Tylar. When not out for a run, Ralph enjoys spending time with his family.

As the COO of Ordergroove, Erin is focused on accelerating revenue growth, building and scaling a world-class team and culture, and ensuring strong value delivery for clients. She is directly responsible for Ordergroove’s Client Services teams, including Client Development and Client Solutions, Subscription Marketing, Human Resources as well as companywide Operations. Prior to Ordergroove, Erin served in leadership roles at Yodle for 6 years, first as SVP of Client Services and then as Chief Human Resources Officer, where she helped scale Yodle’s marketing automation SaaS business from start-up to $160M+ in revenue, 50,000 customers and over 1,200 employees.
Previously, Erin was Vice President of Operations and Customer Service at Yahoo! HotJobs for 8 years where she successfully led the transition from high-growth start-up to an industry-leading media and recruitment solutions business. Before Yahoo!, Erin held management positions at a number of high tech start-up organizations and spent several years in Change Management consulting at Accenture.
Erin is a graduate of Cornell University with a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations. She lives in Tribeca with her husband, John, and baby Grayson where they enjoy trying out all the great restaurants in their neighborhood.

Ofir is leading Ordergroove’s technology team to build world-class subscription commerce products. Prior to Ordergroove, Ofir was the CTO at GroupCommerce, building a SaaS based eCommerce platform for audience owners. Before his time at GroupCommerce, Ofir was the Vice President of Engineering at TheLadders.com, the leading +$100K online recruitment service. In this position he grew the engineering team from 15 to 65 engineers over the course of five years.
Before coming to NYC Ofir spent nine years working in the San Francisco Bay Area. He spent six years building automated testing and monitoring products at Mercury, which got acquired by HP for a $4.5B. He spent three years working for Checkpoint Technology, the leading Internet Security software. Prior to that, had Ofir co-founded an offshore development center in Russia which was sold after three years to a leading IT consulting firm based in Germany.
Originally from Israel, Ofir now lives in NJ with his wife Laili and 2 boys Emanuel and Gabriel. In his free time he enjoys any form of aqua sports and playing basketball with the local league.

Karen is the SVP of People at Ordergroove and is focused on Ordergroove’s company culture, people strategy and HR functions.
Karen is a leader in the human resource and talent fields with 15 years of experience. She was most recently the VP of HR at Yodle and held several other HR-related positions within that company. Karen is the chair of the Talent Development SIG for NYC Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and serves as a faculty member at Baruch. She is an active member of HRLC, SHRM, and ATD. Karen has a MS in Human Resources Development from Villanova University and a BA in Theatre Arts from Elon University.
Karen lives in New York with her husband, Braden, and their furry babies Robin, Finch and Kami. She is originally from New England and is a die-hard Boston sports fan, which makes living in NYC that much more of an adventure!

Scott is the Founder and Managing Partner of Eastern Advisors, a leading venture capital firm seeking to invest in expansion-stage technology companies. Scott is also the Founder of Lead Edge Capital, a private, growth equity investment group launched by Eastern Advisors, focused on growth stage software and Internet businesses. Previously, Scott was a portfolio Manager for Asian Pacific markets at Kingdon Capital. Booth is also a founding investor and partner in Yield Capital Management, a firm that invests in the energy, real estate and telecommunication infrastructure sectors globally with the objective of generating annual yield and asset appreciation.

Mark Kress is the Founder and CEO of Spencer Forrest, Inc. the leading manufacturer of cosmetic products designed to enhance the appearance of thinning hair in men and women. Mark greatly built his business by focusing on customer retention and continuity marketing.
Prior to launching Spencer Forrest, Mark was a broadcasting entrepreneur and a pioneer in the televised home shopping industry. His very first product line is still airing on QVC after 20 years and has amassed among the highest sales of any product line sold through this medium. He was also instrumental in creating the first nationally televised program which combined a talk show format with direct product sales.

David Strasser

Managing Director of SWaN & Legend Venture Partners. David Strasser is a Managing Director for SWaN & Legend. He has worked as a Wall Street sell-side and buy-side analyst since 1996, offering in-depth analysis of the retail and consumer industry for almost 20 years. As an analyst covering the retail industry, Mr. Strasser provided insights into strategy and growth of key retailers, including WalMart, Home Depot and Best Buy, and he became a go-to source for information for large U.S. retailers and for media outlets.
From 1996 through May 2015, Mr. Strasser held various positions on Wall Street. He was a sell-side analyst at Salomon Brothers, covering emerging growth companies and was then asked to cover retailers including Walmart, Home Depot, and Best Buy, amongst many others. He left the sell side from 2001 to 2004 to build and lead the consumer team at the hedge fund Andor Capital, one of the largest long/short equity hedge funds at the time. Mr. Strasser currently serves on the board of Seeds of Peace, a conflict resolution organization. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from Cornell University, and his MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

Jamus’s tenure there spanned a decade, from 2006 to 2016, and from startup to IPO, ultimately being acquired by Saleforce.com in 2016. At Demandware, Jamus led marketing and product management, was General Manager EMEA (based in Munich), and back again to the States to lead integration and operations of acquired companies.
Prior to Demandware, Jamus held a variety of operational and leadership roles in Oracle (within the Oracle Retail Business Unit), ProfitLogic (markdown optimization solutions for retail), and Ascential Software (data integration platform).

Tom Ernst

Tom Ernst is the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for RealPage. As the leader of the company’s financial operations, he is responsible for the company’s financial management and reporting, and for multiple corporate functions, including investor relations, credit facility management, financial planning and analysis, internal reporting, merger and acquisitions, product pricing control and billing.
Mr. Ernst brings more than 20 years of experience in software industry finance and investment advisory, where he advised many high-profile SaaS businesses on organic and acquisition strategies to drive innovation and growth. In 2015, he founded Tom Ernst Advisory (TEA), a strategic consulting firm focused on the software industry. In 2018, Mr. Ernst led TEA in providing strategic advice to software companies, including RealPage. Prior to TEA, Mr. Ernst led the Goldman Sachs Software Investment Banking Team globally and the Deutsche Bank Software U.S. Equity Research Team in coverage of over 30 stocks. Prior to Goldman Sachs, he served as a Nuclear Engineer and Submarine Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Ernst has a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Minnesota and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Peter S. Fader is the Frances and Pei-Yuan Chia Professor of Marketing at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and co-director of theWharton Interactive Media Initiative. His expertise centers around the analysis of behavioral data to understand and forecast customer shopping/purchasing activities. Among other topics in this general area, Professor Fader has focused on modeling customer retention and lifetime value and the differences/interplay between contractual (i.e., subscription) and noncontractual (i.e., transactional) patterns of customer behavior. His work has been published in (and he serves on the editorial boards of) a number of leading journals in marketing, statistics, and the management sciences. He has won many awards for his teaching and research accomplishments.

Brett Hurt

Brett is a General Partner at Hurt+Harbach, a seed-stage venture capital firm. Prior to Hurt+Harbach, Brett worked at Austin Ventures from November of 2012 to August of 2013 and focused on early-stage software investing. Prior to AV, Brett founded Bazaarvoice (NASDAQ: BV) and served as CEO and President for seven years, leading the company from bootstrapped concept to almost 2,000 clients worldwide and through its successful IPO. He subsequently guided the company through a successful follow-on offering, and two acquisitions, PowerReviews and Longboard Media. Brett continues to actively support Bazaarvoice as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. Prior to Bazaarvoice, Brett founded Coremetrics and helped grow the company into a global, leading marketing analytics solution for the eCommerce industry before its acquisition by IBM.
Brett holds an MBA in High-Tech Entrepreneurship from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Texas at Austin. He served three terms on the Board of Directors of Shop.org, the leading non-profit industry association for retailers online and a division of the National Retail Federation, the largest trade organization for retailers. He also serves as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Wharton School. Brett established the Bazaarvoice Foundation and is very active in the philanthropic arena. He received the Austin Entrepreneurs Foundation’s Community Leadership Award in 2012.

Julie is the managing director and founder of Allegro Venture Partners. She brings twenty three years of venture experience to her portfolio companies, which include Ordergroove, Mass Relevance, Comparemetrics, Tango Card, SALT, Bazaarvoice, and Kanjoya. She is on the Board of The V Foundation for Cancer Research and is the co-founder and Chair of The V Foundation Wine Celebration – a charity wine auction – which has raised over $54 million for cancer research. She holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurial and Strategic Management also from The Wharton School.

Dennis Morgan is a digital media and software executive with over 20 years of experience in finance and corporate development. He has served as the CFO of four venture-backed technology companies. Most recently, he helped lead Buddy Media through its explosive growth and sale to Salesforce.com for $745 million. Prior to his CFO roles, he was Vice President of Corporate Finance at Yahoo where he led the corporate finance efforts for over $5 billion in acquisitions and business development deals. Dennis began his career as an investment banker at Alex. Brown and Sons and at Thomas Weisel Partners. Dennis earned an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia, where he was a Shermet Scholar, and a BA from Dartmouth College.

Simon Rodrigue is a recognized leader in the retail transformation taking place in today, with over 15+ years of executive experience in the space. Most notably, Simon is the SVP and Chief Digital Officer at STAPLES Canada where he is a key member of the leadership transforming one of Canada’s most iconic retail brands.
Simon was also the former SVP of eCommerce for Walmart Canada where he was responsible for all aspects of the online business, technology, digital marketing, and integration with stores in Canada. During this time, in addition to rapidly growing the business, he introduced lockers (store pickup) and grocery home shopping to the Canadian market.
Simon was also the VP of Product Management / Site Experience North America as well as General Manager of Canada at Travelocity. He was the Associate Vice President of eCommerce at Sears Canada and held several operational and merchandising leadership roles within The Home Depot Canada before serving as their Senior Manager of eCommerce and Interactive Marketing launching Homedepot.ca into the Canadian marketplace. Mr. Schaufeld is co-Founder and a Managing Director of SWaN. Mr. Schaufeld also is a Partner in Monumental Sports and Entertainment, which owns the Washington Capitals (NHL), Wizards (NBA), Mystics (WNBA), Valor (AFL), Baltimore Brigade (AFL), and Capital One Arena; and a Partner in the Washington Nationals (MLB), Team Liquid (e-Sports) and the Professional Fighters League (PFL).
Prior to SWaN, Mr. Schaufeld founded and led NEW Corp. (“NEW”), acquired by Asurion in 2008 (now NEWAsurion Corp.). NEWAsurion is now the world’s largest consumer product protection company, employing over 17,000 people worldwide. During his tenure, NEW was recognized by Inc. Magazine in its “Inc. 500” list of the fastest growing private companies. He is the patent holder of the Rigid Insurance Form.
Mr. Schaufeld currently sits on the boards of The Noodle Companies, CustomInk, Framebridge, KIND Healthy Snacks, Quad Learning and José Andrés’ ThinkFood Group, and is an advisor to the boards of Cava Group, UrbanStems and DuraTap. Mr. Schaufeld is a recipient of Ernst & Young’s “Entrepreneur of the Year” award. He is a member of the Economic Club of Washington, DC, and of the Young Presidents’ Organization. Shane currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Betty Mills Company, a leading e-commerce supplier of cleaning, janitorial supply, food & vending and office products. BettyMills.com is listed as one of America’s largest 500 e-retailers in Internet Retailer’s 2009 Top 500 Guide.
Prior to this, Shane was the Senior Vice President of Business Development for Webloyalty.com. During Shane’s tenure the company grew from inception (1999) to $143.9 million FY2006 revenues. Shane was responsible for all business development and sales functions resulting in enrollment of 2+ million online paying subscribers in 8 years. In 2005 Webloyalty.com sold a significant stake to General Atlantic, a $15 billion private equity firm.

Vijay Subramanian

Vijay Subramanian is the Chief Analytics Officer at Rent the Runway, a transformative brand that offers unprecedented access to designer fashion, disrupting the way millions of women get dressed. As CAO, Vijay is a partner to the CEO in using big data as a strategic asset for the company, helping drive business decisions across marketing, operations, product and technology, inventory buying and planning, and customer service. Vijay designed the backend systems and algorithms that power the complex eco-system of rental reservations, order fulfillment, returns processing and the overall customer experience.
Vijay is widely credited with building Rent the Runway’s proprietary “reverse logistics” operations, in which a fundamental part of the process is receiving inventory back to the Rent the Runway warehouse for same-day turnaround. Vijay manages the pricing and revenue management systems and is also leading the charge on building the next generation personalized experience for Rent the Runway users via all channels.
Prior to joining Rent the Runway, Vijay served as the Engagement Director for Oracle Retail, Lead Scientist at ProfitLogic, acquired by Oracle in 2005 and a Research Scientist for Procter & Gamble. Vijay received a Bachelor’s of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, and both a Master of Science and PhD in Operations Research from Purdue University. Vijay currently resides with his wife in New York City.

Raul Vazquez was executive vice president of Global eCommerce for Walmart’s developed markets, responsible for defining multi-channel strategies and delivering financial results. Raul served in several leadership roles during his tenure at Walmart including executive vice president and president of Walmart’s west geographic business unit, and president and CEO of Walmart.com.
Before joining Walmart in 2002, Raul worked at startup companies within the ecommerce industry. Prior to that time, he spent several years at a boutique consulting firm that specializes in competitive strategy for Fortune 100 firms, and as an industrial engineer at Baxter Healthcare.
Raul is a graduate of the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania, and also received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in industrial engineering from Stanford University.

Mark Wachen is the Managing Director of DreamIt NYC, one of the world’s leading startup accelerator programs. Wachen is also the Managing Director and Founder of Upstage Ventures, a firm that advises and invests in consumer internet and interactive marketing companies. Through Upstage Ventures, Wachen has worked with a variety of companies including ChaiLabs (acquired by Facebook), SeatGeek, Ordergroove, STELLAService, YouNow, Thumb (acquired by YPulse), GameChanger, RJMetrics, and CatchAFire.
