Position: Senior Client Launch Engineer
Location: New York, NY
Type: Full-time, Salaried with Benefits (health, dental & vision) and Significant Stock Options
Reports To: Vice President of Engineering
About this Position
OrderGroove enables online brands to launch subscription programs to maximize customer retention and lifetime value. We’re headquartered in NYC, funded and recruiting passionate Front-End Engineers to join the team and lead client launches.
Front End Web Engineers are the primary owners of the technical components of an implementation project and client launch. They are responsible for bridging the gap between business owners of a project and the technology team responsible for implementing it. We are looking for unique candidates that can speak both the business and technical languages fluently, and are passionate about hands-on technical configuration and creative problem solving. This job is not an easy one – to be successful at an early-stage company requires a great deal of focus and dedication to your job responsibilities and your team. We believe strongly that each hire we make will contribute a great deal to our Launch team. Attention to detail and a passion to want to work for OUR company is critical for success at OrderGroove – simply wanting to leave where you currently are is not sufficient.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier school, Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science preferred
- 2+ years of web programming, preferably client-facing
- Strong knowledge and passion for Pure JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS or similar front and back-end programming languages
- Familiarity with one or more back-end programming languages, such as Python preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with exceptional organizational skills
- Positive, self-starter attitude and desire to exceed client expectations at every opportunity
- Attention to detail and absolute focus on quality of work
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
Pluses
- Open Source contributions on GitHub, Google Code or similar
- eCommerce experience
- SaaS experience
- Previous startup experience
- Sense of humor
