Position: Sales Director
Location: New York, NY
Type: Full-time, Salaried with Benefits (health, dental & vision), Commission and Significant Stock Options
Reports To: Vice President of Sales and Services

About this Position

OrderGroove is looking for an extraordinarily talented and passionate individual to join our sales team. You must be the type that thrives on challenges and being outside your comfort zone. You must have a history of being a top performer and repeatedly beating your goals and key performance indicators at prior companies.

We are looking for a unique sales leader – someone that has significant experience evangelizing products and has the ability to carry the entire sales process from prospecting to close. You must be a very experienced negotiator with an incredible drive and desire to win.

*A background in selling or servicing online marketing and retailers is a big plus since your focus will be on building partnerships with leading eCommerce sites.*

You must be very confident in the following:

1. Selling high-ROI solutions that will cost clients over $100,000 per year
2. Selling the value and ROI behind OrderGroove’s product and services
3. Sales engineering with the client tech team to get their buy-in
4. Ability to sell all decision makers across multiple depts. including marketing, tech, finance and merchandising
5. Negotiating contracts/terms with the client’s decision maker & attorney while leveraging OrderGroove’s Counsel

Job Requirements

- Bachelors, or Masters degree
- 5+ years of work experience in internet sales
- Expert in selling an early-stage product
- Early-stage / startup experience – less than 100 people companywide
- Experience selling or servicing retailers
- Knowledge of online marketing techniques and technologies
- Able to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Expert of current web/online communication technologies including Microsoft Office products and Salesforce.com
- Desired Skill – experience selling SaaS-based, eCommerce-focused solutions that deliver high ROI for clients
