As OrderGroove is rapidly growing our engineering team to support our growing list of clients, we are looking for problem-solvers who want to have a hand in building solutions to new problems.
As a QA Engineer at OrderGroove, you will have the ability to test code that runs in front of millions of user on leading internet retail sites every day.
About This Position
You will have the opportunity to test both the integrations with our diverse set of client sites as well as our own customer-facing web applications.
The most important thing we are looking for is your knack in finding bugs that lurk in the dusty corners of browsers. We’re looking for someone who can test thoroughly, help drive our testing automation, and deliver to our clients a magical bug-free experience.
Attention to detail and quality, solid communication skills, and the ability to work well on a close-knit, agile team are all critical.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Work with the engineering team to coordinate testing client site integrations
- Develop and implement test plans for releases of our customer facing web applications
- Analyze test results to certify existing functionality and recommends corrective action upon failures
- Evaluation customer reports, reproduce and escalate as necessary
- Consult with engineering team to resolve problems
- Measure the progress and success of testing efforts
- Establish and maintain automated test suites for our products
Testing will include functional, integration, regression and sanity testing. Heavy emphasis will be placed on automation. Thus, a strong background in automation development and execution is required.
Requirements
Ideally, you have 2+ years experience testing web-based applications across multiple browsers. You’re smart and enthusiastic and want test software that runs in front of millions of people every day. You’ll help us drive high- quality releases at a crazy pace. You’re passionate about building great products, not scared of tough challenges, and want to be a part of a fast-growing startup.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related Engineering
- Testing cross-browser web applications
- Using bug tracking software
- Track record of getting successfully tested projects into production
- Fanatical about details
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Bonus: Test automation frameworks
